Key responsibilities

What you will do

  • Identify, qualify, and acquire new business opportunities through networks, research, prospecting, cold calls, and industry-related events.
  • Conduct needs analyses and assessments to understand customer lighting and electrical requirements and provide technical expertise and solutions.
  • Present, demonstrate, and conduct product presentations to individuals or groups, highlighting key features and benefits and explaining how they address customer challenges.
  • Collaborate with the sales, research and development, and technical teams to create tailored proposals, presentations, and product solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing and payment terms to close deals and secure new business while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing service assistance and addressing concerns.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies to anticipate customer needs and identify product enhancement or new offering opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics through account management, accurate forecasting, and regular reporting.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Knowledge of lighting and electrical products, lighting design, and products in the category.
  • Understanding of products, services, and the design and construction industry.
  • Ability to communicate technical lighting and electrical functions to professional and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent account management and negotiation skills; a proven record of achieving and exceeding sales objectives is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates should be able to show excellent academic accomplishments and active participation in school organizations and other social or external activities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop long-lasting client relationships.
  • Able to speak and express ideas well in English and Tagalog and comfortable presenting in public.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities to understand customer needs, identify solutions, and recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, or other productivity applications.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other software tools is preferred.
