Key responsibilities

What you will do

  • Revenue Growth and Sales Target Achievement: Ensure the smooth daily operations of all assigned Modern Trade stores within the territory.
  • Drive sales performance by maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring excellent product visibility, and executing planograms and merchandising standards.
  • Oversee the allocation and application of marketing collaterals and POP materials to maximize brand presence and product offtake.
  • Monitor and analyze sales trends per SKU and category to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic actions to increase revenue.
  • Support the execution of in-store promotions and events to enhance sell-through and brand awareness.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with key Modern Trade partners, including area managers, store managers, store supervisors, and other client personnel involved in Omni's store operations.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and customer complaints promptly to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Ensure all stores provide excellent customer service and uphold Omni's brand image.
  • Oversee store compliance with brand policies, store regulations, and visual merchandising standards to ensure clean, organized, and appealing products, displays, marketing collaterals, and selling areas.
  • Employee Development and Retention: Lead, coach, train, and motivate coordinators, team leaders, promodisers, and other front-line personnel to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify training needs and propose developmental initiatives to improve team capabilities.
  • Work closely with HR and manpower agencies to ensure staffing requirements are consistently met and to minimize employee turnover.
  • Promote a positive and engaging work culture to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Project Completion and Operational Reporting: Plan and execute complete area coverage and a frequency of store visits within the assigned area to ensure consistent performance monitoring.
  • Ensure timely collection and consolidation of data, including store performance, manpower requirements, sales reports, store database details, and competitor activities.
  • Act as a liaison between field operations and the Modern Trade Head, providing regular reports, insights, and recommendations.
  • Ensure timely completion of operational projects, store initiatives, and promotional executions as scheduled.
  • Financial Efficiency and Resource Management: Monitor and control operational expenses within the assigned area, including rentals, activations, manpower, and all in-store operational costs.
  • Evaluate budget variances and justify spending decisions to the Modern Trade Head.
  • Ensure efficient use of financial and material resources to maximize profitability.
  • Recommend cost-saving measures without compromising operational quality and brand standards.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales operations or retail management, preferably in the Modern Trade or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple store locations and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and reporting tools.
  • Can drive and is willing to travel frequently within assigned areas.
